The ANS Globe, an e-newsletter of the International Committee, is published periodically under the direction of International Committee Chair France Bres-Tutino and Editors Benjamin Rouben (12 & 1 Consulting) and Mauro L. Bonardi (University of Milano, Italy). The ANS Globe was originally created in paper format during 1992 by then Committee Chair John Graham (Etcetera Assessments LLP) for the purpose of keeping committee members informed between the two ANS national meetings. The Globe was reactivated in 2004 and converted to an updated e-newsletter format under the direction of the Committee Chair, France Bres-Tutino. Reports on International Committee activities are provided in this e-newsletter, including reports from non-U.S. Local Sections, a Young Generation Corner, news from Sister Societies and related organizations such as the International Nuclear Societies Council and the Pacific Nuclear Council. The ANS Globe content also consists of an international meetings calendar and a list of International Committee members. Its expanded circulation includes the Board of Directors, Standing and Special Committee Chairs/Vice Chairs, Professional Division Officers, International Local Section Chairs as well as ANS Agreement Society contacts. The International Committee is pleased to recognize John Graham, the creator of The ANS Globe (also the initial Globe editor and an ANS Past President), along with prior Editor Richard F. Vance (Consultant). |
