The American Nuclear Society monographs are concise expositions of particular subject areas - monographs can be considered a guidebooks designed to introduce a reader to a specific area of nuclear science or technology. Monographs cover those subject considered most important to applied engineering and most useful in dealing with current problems in nuclear technology. Monograph authors are selected for their technical competence and their ability to cover monograph subjects impartially and comprehensively.
